Locus Focus visited Bonnyrigg and Lasswade Community Council to ask for information to include in a guide for a Bonnyrigg page in a Borders rail guide.
Got email saying:
"Dear All,
I am getting in touch with you as you have been kind enough to respond positively when I approached you for advice and input for the above Guide.
I am conscious that it is some time since I have met some of you and you might have been expecting a draft of some sort by now. It has transpired that the way the project is constructed with the interweaving of the print and the digital, it has been necessary to build a lot of the framework before filling in the details. I attach a brief outline of how the Guide looks to date. Please be aware that this is a work in progress but I trust it will give you an idea of how the Guide might look and function. I should be very grateful if you could pass this on to anyone whom you think might be interested.
It is now very necessary to get to grips with the content and I have been fortunate enough to meet a large number of experts in their particular field who have been very generous with their time and knowledge. The first two months of the coming year are looking very busy indeed for me! I am therefore planning to get back in touch with you when I have a draft text and map of your local area.
In the meantime, I would be very delighted to hear from anyone who would like to hear more about the guide and from anyone who would have suggestions on what should be included - I need all the help I can get!
I wish everyone a happy Christmas and an exciting 2015 with trains!
Regards
Wendy
